hey :)
It’s been a while, since I read this book. But, it occurred to me that I hadn’t written a review yet. So, that’s what I’m doing today! :)

The perks of being a wallflower, by Stephen Chbosky
It’s about Charlie, a freshman in high school, who becomes friends with Patrick and Sam. They are a few years older than Charlie, but Charlie becomes a part of their world anyway and learns about the things they do, which people his age usually don’t.

I found it hard to describe what the book is about, so if you want a better description, you can always Google it :)

It’s not written like a normal book. You read thousands of letters Charlie has written to an almost-random person, “I’m writing to you because she said you listen and understand (…)” is the first sentence of The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. So he doesn’t know him/her, but he hasn’t really picked a random person either. In the letters he tells him/her about what happened.

So, I liked the book, but, it’s not one of my favorite books ever, or something like that. It’s very real, which is a good thing, but some parts felt a bit like over sharing to me. Though it hasn’t really happened of course, but still.
I still recommend it to everyone, though! I enjoyed reading it, after all.

You can buy it at book stores or online, for £7.99. If you’re not into reading, there’s also a movie based on this book :)
