I wanted to review this cute little fashion book today. So, it’s about a “fashion bunny”; Fifi Lapin. Well, it’s not about her, actually. It’s written by her. Not really, of course. But the real author is unknown. You might know Fifi Lapin from “her” blog: www.fifi-lapin.blogspot.com. But about the book: it’s a cute book with style tips from Fifi Lapin. There are a few chapters; one for every day.
This is the beginning of the chapter “Thursday - Fashion Forward”.
There are also a few pages like this in the book; some quick style tips with cute drawings (again). But though it’s mostly about fashion, there is also a recipe for carrot cupcakes, a tutorial on how to make your own face mask,
something about colorful makeup, tips on how to pose for the camera and more :)
This is about fashion, but I just wanted to mention that there are also some interviews with designers like Anna Sui in it :)

Let’s get on to my opinion about the book!
I think I made it clear that I think it’s very very cute. I also love the idea of a “stylish bunny”. A fashion bunny doesn’t make any sense, but what I like about it is that it’s not so standard. It’s a creative and original idea. I also love the idea of a chapter a day. And that it’s not only about fashion; that there are recipes (for example) inside too.
To my opinion it’s just a cute (I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned “cute” so many times in one blogpost :)) inspirational book, which is nice to have. It is a little expensive though: $14,95.

Today I wanted to do a little shoplog for you :) I know shoplogs are usually a video, but I’m too scared to post a video on my blog to be honest.. 😊 Let me know if you’d like a video though, maybe that’ll give me some courage :)
Anyways, today my package from Topshop finally arrived (I ordered it last week on December 13th..) and I’m so so so happy with everything I ordered! I always find it a little bit scary to shop online, because then I don’t know for sure if the clothes fit. But I don’t have to worry about that anymore, because everything fits perfectly! :)
1. So, I bought this Daisy Duck underwear.. I just couldn’t not buy it! It’s so cute! :) It cost €5,-.
2. Oh my gosh, I love this shirt. I’ve been wanting a shirt with a turtle neck for a while now, and this one is just perfect! It’s hard to see in this picture, but the fabric is ribbed, which gives the simple design just that little bit extra :) It cost €25,-.
3. I have a thing for over-the-knee socks. I just love them. These color blocked ones are perfect for a “I’m not going to do anything - day” but they also look great with my fake Dr. Martens from H&M Divided :) They cost €9,-.
So, that was everything I bought at Topshop. But the shoplog isn’t over just yet :) Yesterday I went to Primark with a few friends, so I wanted to show you what I bought there, too!
4. I don’t think you can ever have enough lip balms, so why not buy this super cute lip balm with candy canes on the tin for only €1,-?!
5. This breath spray is absolutely amazing. It’s really refreshing & it has a nice pepperminty taste. I bought only one at first, but when I tasted it, I immediately felt like I needed another one. So, I bought another one :)
They cost €1,- each.
6. Lastly, I bought white lace socks, and they are so cute, but since I wore them yesterday they are dirty now. And that’s really obvious since they are white.. So I chose to not post a picture of them. They are reaaally cute though. They cost €2,-.

Today I wanted to do a “wish list post”. So, a few things from my wish list:
1. Baby lips electro in “Minty Sheer”. You can’t have enough lip balms in cold winter days like these! Plus, I loooove mint lip balms.
2. Another thing for your lips: the Bubblegum lip scrub from LUSH. I used to have (it’s empty now..) the Popcorn lip scrub from LUSH, and I totally loved it! Since it’s empty now, I’d like to try another lip scrub from LUSH, like Bubblegum.
3. I love this scarf from “Monki”! It makes me think of the beautiful scarfs from “Acne”, but the Acne scarfs are like €130, and this one is €20, so I’d rather buy this one!
4. I really want a black skinny high waisted jeans! They’re so simple, but very fashionable :) This one is from Topshop.
5. This one isn’t on my wish list anymore, cause I own one now (yaay!) but a tattoo choker was on my wish list for a long time, so I wanted to share it with you anyways.
6. And last but not least: (this one isn’t on any of the pictures, by the way) a simple black blank Moleskine notebook. They’re so classy! :) But, they’re really expensive, so yeah :(

Like a week ago, @ariane-groot and I went to Amsterdam, just for a day. I bought “IT” that day, by Alexa Chung. I wanted the book for a while, and I’m glad I bought it :) I bought the softcover instead of the hardcover, because the hardcover is twice as expensive… Anyway, like I told you, I’m happy to have the book. So I wanted to write a review of it!
So it’s like a personal fashion-beauty diary of Alexa Chung. It’s also full of pictures, and just one of those inspiring books I’m obsessed with. It opens with the sentence; “Horses were my first love.” That’s a diary-piece of it. Then there’s a piece about the Spice Girls, a little doodle, something about her grandpa, and a little bit further in the book there’s a “guide to getting dressed” and somewhere else there’s a piece called “here are some beauty looks I love”. I hope this gives you an idea of what the book is like. I like it so much because it inspires me to make my own book like that. It makes me want to take pictures and draw and write, and stuff like that :)
The softcover costs £8.99, I bought it for €12,99.

So maybe you’ve seen my post about watercoloring a few weeks ago, maybe you haven”t. The thing is, I’m kind of obsessed with watercolors, so yeah, here’s another post about them..
The cool thing about watercoloring is that it doesn’t get boring. You can do so many things with watercolors. Like splatter them all over your paper and feel like a happy little kid. Like giving your drawing just that little extra color. Like “painting” some random shapes with it and make something out of it.
It’s the perfect thing to do when you’re bored, or feel creative, but don’t know what to draw/paint/whatever.
The biggest picture above is a picture of my own watercolor set, the pictures beneath are sets I’d love to have (I found the pictures on Google, Amazon and eBay.
The two on the left are from the same set: the Fifi Lapin watercolor set. Doesn’t it look cute? It’s from Juicy Couture, and they don’t sell it anymore, but you can find one at eBay or Amazon, if you’re interested :) By the way; I love those colors! They’re like all the basic colors, but then just a little bit different, which makes them super cute!
The price of this set depends on where you buy it.
The picture on the right doesn’t look cute at all, but it does look like it’s from great quality, doesn’t it? So that’s why I’m really interested in that one too :)

Today I’ll be writing about how to make a tattoo choker — I like literally in love with choker necklaces, and they’re really easy to make soooo… :)
Let’s get started! :)
You only need:
- black elastic rope
- scissors
- tape
Cut the rope (I think like a meter long) and fold it in half. Tape the upside to a table. You have like two ropes now, though they are actually one, but you know what I mean. Take the left rope and make a four by folding the rope over the other. Pull the string through the hole and tie it, but leave some space, so it’s not completely tied. Then you should fold the right one over the left and do de same thing. Repeat till you think it’s long enough.
That’s pretty much it! Now tie a knot at the end and pull it over your head, and you’re done!

On my blog, I mostly write about a few “themes”: diy, books/movies/music, photography, and sometimes food or fashion. Not often though. I wanted to do these more often, starting now. That’s why I have an OOTD for you today (in the fashion category :)) I went shopping at one of my favorite shops, Brandy Melville, so that’s why most clothes I’m wearing in the OOTD are from Brandy Melville.

I love the Monki store. At the moment, it’s my favorite fashion store in town. Monki is like a H&M, but less ordinary. In Monki you can find things like socks with a photo of a giraffe on it, or a legging made of velvet. Another thing I like about Monki are the “monkis”. The creatures which are typical for the store. When I was on the Monki-website, I found something like a little Monki legend - if you can call this a legend… It’s more like a fun story. You can read the story in the picture.
I really like this! (that’s the reason I’m sharing this story with you): They didn’t have to make up a story and place it on their site, I mean, it’s extra work. But they did, and I like that; that they do something extra for an even better, magical experience in the store. I’m sure I’m gonna think of this, the next time that I’m going to Monki.

Ik heb een leuk DIY projectje voor jullie! :) Een tijdje geleden heb ik een wit shirt uit m’n vaders kast meegenomen. Groot en rekbaar: heerlijk voor een dagje bankhangen! Ik vond ‘m alleen wel een beetje saai… Eerst was ik van plan om strijkletters te kopen op de markt, maar uiteindelijk heb ik voor een nog veel makkelijkere manier gekozen: waskrijt!
Het enige wat je nodig hebt is waskrijt en een (wit) shirt. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een hartje op mijn shirt te tekenen. Eerst maak je (met potlood) de outline van je tekening op je shirt, als je tevreden bent kun je het gaan inkleuren met waskrijt. Toen ik klaar was, heb ik het ongeveer een dag laten ‘drogen’ en daarna heb ik het aangetrokken. Het gaf nog steeds een beetje af, maar aan het einde van de dag was het alweer minder. Je hebt er sowieso niet zo’n last van!

Really: I love those!
Al een tijdje wil ik graag sneakers met een hak. Toen ik gister de stad in ging om schoolspullen te kopen - kaftpapier, schriften, multomap.. - liepen we (mam, m’n BFF en ik) eerst even langs de markt. Em daar stonden ze, deze beauties! Afgeprijsd, zelfs. 15 euro! Wat een koopje! Ik ben er zo blij mee! :)
Ik combineer ze vandaag met een blauw rokje van H&M, een grijs, mouwloos shirtje, gestreepte sokjes en een zilveren ketting met vlindertjes.
