Mocktail recipe

It’s too bad I didn’t take a picture of the mocktail (a cocktail without alcohol) I made a few days ago. I still want to share the recipe, though.

This is what you need, for two glasses:
• 18 mint leaves
• 4 tbsp sugar
• 4 ice cubes
• the juice of 2 lemons
• 2 tbsp lemonade syrup (I prefer the flavor “tropical” for this mocktail)
• 400 ml water

What you need to do:
Put 14 mint leaves, the sugar and the lemon juice in a blender and mix. Add water and lemonade syrup and mix for another minute.
Gift the drink into two glasses, add the ice cubes, the 4 mint leaves you didn’t blend and serve :)

I think this is a great summer drink, and I’d like you to try it :)

I’ve been on a little vacation with my bestie and I had a great time. I’d like to tell you about it in this post. :)
The first day, we went to Amsterdam. Although the weather wasn’t quite lovely, we still had a lovely day in Amsterdam. I bought a cute notebook at Urban Outfitters and shorts at Pull & Bear. I love them both.
The second day, we went to Arnhem.
It’s not a famous city, but that doesn’t make the city less fun. So after dinner, we went to a park and there was a lovely fountain you could just walk into. It was really fun.
The last day we went shopping in Leiden and swimming on the beach.
Leiden was beautiful and I just love the beach. Like I said, I had a great time. I hope you’ll visit those cities someday.

This song is a little old, I think, but I just kind of discovered it. It’s a really good song! I don’t exactly know why I like this song so much, I just do.
Lana Del Rey is like really popular, but I never really listened to her songs, I don’t know why. Yesterday I realized that, and decided to listen to some of her songs. “I might like it” I thought. But then in Dutch, of course :)
And like I told you, I do like them (I only listened to a few songs, not all of them, that would take a while :)). I added Video Games, Summertime Sadness and Dark Paradise to a playlist called “random” (on that playlist are also Love the way you lie (Eminem ft. Rihanna), Beauty and a Beat, acoustic version (Justin Bieber), Fancy (Iggy Azalea), Eenie Meenie (Justin Bieber ft. Sean Kingston) and Work (Iggy Azalea)).
Later, I removed Dark Paradise, not because the song wasn’t good, but because the lyrics were like really really sad, so yeah.
So Video Games and Summertime Sadness are still on my playlist and I especially love Summertime Sadness (I know that’s also sad… But yeah, the song is just really beautiful) so I wanted to tip you about that one :).

Hey!
I know I have to explain why I didn’t write a blogpost all week. So here’s
my very very short explanation: I had a test week, so I had to learn a lot of boring stuff like why a car is able to drive and about the cells of an animal and stuff like that. Also a lot of French words. I really hate school.
But, there is an upside! Because it’s the summer holiday (yes!!) I can buy and pimp my school stuff for next year. So, I did (see the picture above). And I wanted to give you guys some inspiration for how to pimp your school stuff for next year, that’s why I decided to write a blogpost about it :)
So, here’s how I did it:
1. I spent a long time behind my computer (well, actually it’s my parents’ computer, but yeah I don’t care) searching for the coolest pics on We Heart It.
2. I all put them into a document on Pages and then printed it.
3. Then I pasted them to my agenda and other school stuff. I used some glue and also some cute tape.

Doesn’t it look cool? I was really happy with the result :)
