I read some blogposts about watercoloring a few weeks ago and they inspired me to work with watercolors too. I made these paintings/drawings or whatever you want to call it, using a new technique. So now I’m going to explain this technique to you guys because it’s a very fun way to work with watercolors.
1. Splatter some watercolors on your paper until it starts to have shape. You shouldn’t know what you’re going to paint yet.
2. If you have this shape, look at it and imagine what it could be. You’re going to paint some more until it looks like the thing you imagined.
3. Use a black sharpie with an ultra fine point to give your painting yet more shape.

Then you’re done! I really think this is a fun and easy way to use watercolors!
